How To Treat Cyst In Left Ovary?

Hi, I am planning for ivf and underwent TVS for AFC recently.It was found that I have a cyst in my left ovary and so my doctor advised me to take novelon from my 5th day - 25th day of my cycle. Could you please tell me if novelon is really useful in treating a cyst?
