How To Treat Debilitating Left Thumb Caused Due To An Injury?

Hello, I,m a very active 68 yr old female. My problem is a 15 yr old fall that hurt my left thumb (I am right handed). It is becoming debilitating and I want to have surgery to fix it. I realize there is probably an added arthritis condition, but I was stubborn and thought it would just heal. I want a recommendation of a terrific hand surgeon who possibly could help me.
