How To Treat Depression Caused Due To Withdrawal Of Risperdal Tablets?

My grandson was recently taken off Resperidal tablets (2-3 days ago by his doctor. he is now asking for one of his tablets but this is not an as needed Rx. He says he is feeling depressed but not suicidal. I do not know if he should have a dose or not. The Rx was not Rx on his last doctor s visit last week. I do have a few doses but am not comfortable with using the left over Rx doses for as needed without doctor s consent. Suggestions.My grandson is 17 and will be 18 next month. YYYY@YYYY
