How To Treat Difficulty In Body Movement Due To Muscle Paralysis?

Hi my mother in law suffers from muscle paralysis on random occasions that can last up to two hours. She is fully conscious but cannot move her body or her face does not move. She seems to go in and out of this while she is having an attack. Can you please help me and advise on this problem
