I was at work yesterday and black smoke began emanating out of one of the ovens. The smell of smoke filled the air, but I just ignored it and continued working for about five hours until my shift was over. Since then, I have had a headache, dizziness, lightheadedness, an occasional cough, slight on and off chest pain, slight on and off abdominal pain and mucous has begun building up in my throat. I am also asthmatic and I have had three spontaneous pneumothoraxes, a pleurodesis, a bleb resection, and they also removed part of my lung as well. The three spontaneous pneumothoraxes, pleurodesis, bleb resection, and removal of part of my lung has all occurred between April of 2013 and June or July of 2014. I wasn't sure if I should go to the ER or if I should wait and make an appointment with my doctor? If I do go to the ER or my doctors, what should I tell them? Should I tell them that I have suffered from possible smoke inhalation?
