How To Treat Gestational Diabetes At 36th Week Of Pregnancy?

Hi..I am 36 weeks pregnant and have gestational Diabetes. I had to have a growth scan this morning and it turns out the baby is very big. Already weighing 3.7kg. My doc appointment is not till next week. I just want to know if they normally induce when the baby is to big??
