How To Treat Heavy Periods While Being Borderline Anemic?

I am a 48 year old female. In good health. But have a few issues I want checked. My menstration cycle has gotten heavier, I am always boarder line anemic, I am starting to have restless leg symptoms also am wondering about my thyroid.Do I need and gyn or a general doctor?
