How To Treat Intestinal Blockage In Infants?

My grandson was born three weeks ago. When I first saw him his skin looked like parchment paper and he was jaundice. He was also premature by three weeks and weighed under five pounds. The hospital still let him go home and then a week later, he was vomiting all his food. My daughter took him back to the hospital and he had surgery to remove an intestinal blockage. He is still under weight. He looks failure to thrive to me. What do you think?
