How To Treat Itching Sensation Behind The Ear?

I think I got a spider bite behind my ear when I was in my attic about 3 hours ago. I didn t see it and assume it was one of those small blonde spiders that has bit me in the past when I was painting my ceiling. It looks the same. i am itching and the bite is red and raised. I don t have benedryl, but I do have loratadine and doxylamin succinate in a nite time cold and flu formula. What should I take for itching? Nevermind, my aunt is a nurse practitioner and will call her at no charge. sorry
