How To Treat Leaking Valves Caused Due To Heart Failure?

my mother is 86 who as heart failure the heart is not pumping correct she as leaking valves the main valve i think aorta has quite alot of amnormalities she keeps having fluid retention in lungs/ liver she has a pacemaker just for the beating of the heart, my question really is how long will she be able to carry on like this what is her life expectancy?
