How To Treat Migraine Problem?

I have status migrainosus and i am having my worst episode yet. the migraines are so sever i cannot keep up with my school work. the latest migraine has lasted for about two days and right now i would say my pain is around a 7 to 8. Should i be alarmed and contact a doctor for immediate care or schedule an appointment for a later time.
