How To Treat Nosebleeds?

I have a 13 year old grandson and he has been having a lot od nose bleeds for the past three months I keep thinking maybe dry air in the house He was golfing yesterday and his nose starting bleeding . Is there anbdsything to worry about and how do you stop the bleeding to stop ?
