How To Treat Pain And Blockage In Ear?

Hi, I had ear ache last night in my right ear so I put olive oil in, all day today my ear has been blocked, I was only hearing a little echo in the ear, also when I touch my cheek i can really hear me touching it on that one side also when I eat, is this an infection or wax build up?
