How To Treat Pain And Burning Sensation From Hips To Ankles After Having Spinal Fusion?

I am a 62 yr. old women and I had spinal fusion of T4/T5 on March 10, I was released from hospital on the 15th. Things have been going ok although there has been some major pain around the incision area. However what is bothering me the most is the burning, shooting pain starting at the hips going down the thigh to ankles. It gets to the point where I holler out because it takes my breathe away! Is this normal, please respond to YYYY@YYYY
