How To Treat Pain And Soreness On Left Side Of Abdomen?

I feel on Friday night and landed very hard on a hard plastic tub on my lower left side. I went to urgent care on Sunday and they did not have an xray at that facility but are treating me with pain meds for a fractured rib based on exam and symptoms. They indicated i could go to a neighboring Urgent care that had Xray facilitilies open on a weekend if I wanted to but since the treatment didn t matter, I thought I would skip the expense. Obviously, my left side is still extremely sore but my stomach is bothering me and seems really bloated. Is that probably just a side affect from pain meds or something I should be concerned about. thanks in advance for your response.
