How To Treat Pain And Swelling After Cast Removal For Fracture Of 5th Metacrapal?

I fractured the 5th metacarpal at the base.The report also read that it was a 2mm displacement.i was put into a cast for four weeks in which was just recently removed. it is very swollen with a lot of pain and it still look like it is is still shifted to the side. I would like to know if this is normal after a cast removal?
