How To Treat Pain And Swelling Around Tibia Due To An Injury?

Hi, I am an active young girl. I play a lot of sport including polo. However a week ago I got crashed into by another horse into the outer muscle surrounding the tibia. It has hurted since then and is painful to touch and a bit to walk. It is also a bit swollen. Could you give me some advice please.
