How To Treat Pain During Urination After Undergoing Vaginal Swab Test?

Hello! I had a vaginal swab test done this morning but it was extremely uncomfortable (though I wouldn't say painful). The swab was taken from the froglegs position rather than with the use of stirrups. Now I am experiencing some pain with urination. Is this normal? Could the doctor have swabbed my urethra by mistake?
