How To Treat Painful Bump With Pus And Clear Discharge On Top Of Scalp?

I had a small painful bump on the top of my scalp. I popped it and yellow pus came out the some clear liquid and blood. The next day it ws completely flat and painless. However there is a quarter size smooth bald spot. You can see the pores but no hair at all. Is this permanent?
