How To Treat Pus Filled Bump On Gum Caused Post Wisdom Teeth Removal?

So I got my wisdom teeth out on jan16 and after about 1 and a half weeks afterwards i got an infection yay me! I ve been keeping a close eye on it since I went to my dentist in which i was told i got an infection and he put me on Amoxicillin and Tylenol 3s, it was a rough infecton but as of today the swelling has gone down a bunch and i can now open my jaw more and the pain isn t as intense... I am just worried about the huuge rock hard lump on my jaw.. Just curious as to how to drain the pus/blood out? and how long i should wait.. it s very uncomfortable and awkward.
