How To Treat Red Rash On The Base Of Penis?

I have a red rash on the base of my penis... It doesn t really itch or cause any discomfort. I recently had contact dermatitis on my thighs And the rash on my penis appeared at the same time. It was treated with prednisone and everything healed except the rash on my penis. I have tried cortisone cream but that hasn t worked.
