How To Treat Red Sore Spots Around The Anus?

i waxed around my anus the other day because i wanted to be smooth for my lover. a day or two later i felt lumpy. It started to get really itchy and burned. I looked at it and i saw red spots as if i had burned my skin. Now i only have little patches of the red sore spots and the others are dry and healing . I try to keep it dry .. as i believe moister only makes it worse. What should i do?
