How To Treat Runny Nose And Lack Of Taste?

Not sure if I m having allery syptoms or getting a cold. My throat is thick and losing taste of food. Only been since this morning. My right side of my nose is running a lot (seeing some colored (green) discharge) when I blow my nose. If i take my finger and put it against my left nostrile, I can t breath out my right nostrile. what should I take?
