How To Treat Scars On Fingers Caused Due To Frost Bite?

out snowmobiling 2 weeks ago..frostbite on the tips of my fingers of my right hand.i did go to see my family doctor who told me that every thing should clear up in about 2 weeks time,i was just in the shower and after being in there long enough to have my skin prune up i noticed that a scar on one of my affected fingers was white...i rubbed it a bit,my skin tore open, i could peel off the skin from the bottom of my finger nail back to almost my first knuckle.it happened on all 4 fingers that were affected(i have no fingerprints)the amount of numbness is the same as when it happened.i know that frostbite kills the cells and nerves but i have had little to no improvement and like i explained the peeling is concerning...thanks
