How To Treat Severe Knee Pain Caused Due To A Injury?

I fell down on both knees on cement floor very hard! So painful I stayed in bed 2 weeks. Went to VA doctor they said no broken bones said pain will go away in few weeks. Been 3 months can t sleep sharp pain just barely touch legs are very unstable and want to bend wrong way. If I sit down for some time then get up, I almost come to tears with pain, walking downhill or down stairs hurts inside of legs beside kneecaps both legs!
