How To Treat Severe Throat Pain Caused Due To An Injury?

Just got out of hospital was injured (it seems I started vomiting while I was under), and the people working on me went into action and my throat was injured subsequently. Now my throat is extremely painful. Any ideas on how to take care such a thing?
