How To Treat Severe Vomiting?

Hi, My 9 year old golden retriever started throwing up in the morning since last Thurs. I have been giving her rice last 2 days and she now hasn t thrown up 24 hours. I am concerned maybe she is having trouble going #2. She has a little in the past few days but not much. Can I give her something to help her. Otherwise, if she doesn t my next step will be to the vet. Just worried maybe she has a blockage if she doesn t go in the next day.
