How To Treat Sinus Infection,swelling Of Right Eye And Blisters On Temple?

Went to doctor following a week of dull headache and small bumps under the skin on head, very tender to touch. He said I had a sinus infection after looking down my throat. Then my right eye started to swell and I got several small blister on the eyelid. Also blisters on my temple. I had previously had pain from my temple area to my jawline. Also blister below my eyebrow which has scabbed over. Several blister with scabs in scalp -- all this only on the right side of my head and face. He said it was a hair follicle infection. I think it sounds like shingles. What do you think,
