How To Treat Skin Discoluration On Upper Lip?

Hi i have a discoloration of my upper lip. It looks like a shadow and then at times looks like a whiter than the rest of my face. I go for facial waxes once a month and believe it to be hyperpigmentation. My hair does grow back fast up there. Is there any sort of solution to my problem. Please help me. Thank you
