How To Treat Sore Lumps In Armpit?

i have sore lumps that have recently appeared in my arm pits. i am travelling in Canada and will not be back home in Australia for a week. If it is a bacterial infection can I go for a week without antibiotics or is there a possibility of becoming ill? What are the other potential conditions?Cheers Duncan
