How To Treat Sore Throat And Swallowing Difficulty?

it started with a sore throat and and a toothache. I went to the dentist and got two teeth extracted because of bad infection in the roots. After the extraction my throat killed and was extremely painful to swallow now five days later half my throat looks blood shot and it is still sore to swallow. I have been drinking a lot of water.
