How To Treat Swollen Abdomen And Cramps Caused After HSG?

Hi, I had a hsg yesterday which thankfully showed now blockages. However the procedure was prolonged with four attempts to insert the speculum and catheter, two failed attempts with the dye. This caused lots of discomfort at the time, however I now have a swollen abdomen, feel bruised and have cramps, is this normal or should I go to my gp as they warned of post procedure infection?
