How To Treat Tickling And Discoloration In Fingers Post Aortic Clot Repair?

My friend is recovering from an aorta clot that travel to her brain and caused her to have a stroke. The surgery to repair clot was successful, however she is now experiencing tickling, numbness and discoloration of her fingertips...is this normal or could there be an underlining cause.
