How To Treat Toe Nail Injury In Children?

A DVD rack fell onto my daughter's great toe (she's 4) last night. There is a small cut on the tip of the toe, no big deal, but, her toenail split down the middle. The bleeding stopped with compression after about 5 minutes. Is ABX ointment and bandaid application enough or should we see our doctor? If so, how quickly as today is a Holiday? She slept through the night (I gave her children's Advil) and says that is doesn't hurt anymore.
