How To Treat Tumor In Colon?

Hi Niece Has been diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer in December 2014. In January surgery was performed de bulking removed both ovaries, fallupian tube .. after de bulking the treatment of chemo in combination of Carbo Platin and Taxol was given for 5 cycles..before the 6th chemo when the patient was complaining about the blood in stool the doctor decided to do another colonoscopy and the report came as positive of tumor in colon.. These procedures are done in Karachi Pakistan.. Now the doctors are suggesting to go for immediate surgery ... Please advise Thanks
