How To Treat Twisted Ankle Leading To Pain?

Hi I was just wondering how long it usually takes a twisted ankle to heal. I hurt mine about four weeks ago and I wanted to make sure it isn t something more severe. Also, I have continued to participate it normal activities, including running most afternoons, but while wearing an ankle brace.Thanks :)
