How To Treat Wrist Pain Post Having Drips?

I had a drip in my right hand about 10 days ago. Now I have a pain in my right wrist, about two inches back from where the drip went in; the drip went in the middle of the back of my hand. The pain is roughly where the face of my watch sits. It hurts to press on it and to move my wrist.
