Husband is having dizziness had a cat scan yesterday this is resultsIMPRESSION:
1. No intracranial mass or abnormal intracranial enhancement.
2. Age-appropriate cerebral atrophy with mild chronic small vessel ischemic white matter disease. There is a remote left basal ganglia lacunar infarction.
3. No hydrocephalus or acute intracranial event.
4. Clear visualized paranasal sinuses and mastoid air cells.
5. Intracranial atherosclerosis.
6. Both lens are small, may be an acquired or congenital finding versus sequela of bilateral lens surgery.

If the patient has persistent or acute neurologic symptoms or if symptoms persist or worsen, consider brain MRI for further evaluation if clinically indicated and there are no contraindications.
