Husband Left Coumadin At Home...we Will Not Have Any Today.

Husband left Coumadin at home...we will not have any today. How long can he safely go before he can get some from his clinic. They are closed today; he got a recorded message..should we go home(we can do that). He doesn't seem to be concerned, but I am. The clinic had him take a double dose, watched him, he is ok with the numbers now, but this doesn't sound like advice I find here.
