I AM OVERWEIGHT And Have A Red Line Around Where

I AM OVERWEIGHT and have a red line around where my stomach overlaps. It felt wet, so I have tried to dry it and was upset that there was a bad smell coming from it. I think I have an infection and have used neons-Orin and am letting the area dry out. What is it. I looked at yeast infections and it did not look like it. More of a red hot line.
