I Am Have A Coughing Issues Dr Can't Find Why

I Am Have A Coughing Issues Dr Can't find why except they say it is Reflux and Ephogus issues (which on Med for and I Am and have me on Medicine for the Cough but I Can't get it until the 14, But The last couple of days I have noticed I Have Pain in the left side of my Neck and when it gets bad I Start having the coughing/Choking systoms. Could these be related and serious?
