I HAVE POLYCYSTIC KIDNEYS AND *I'm 75 Y.O. My nephrologist suggests kidney removal but my urologist is not convinced to do the surgery. He said, you're not in pain, no kidney infections, no cancer, and two other reasons that I cannot remember. My kidneys have ruptered two umbilical hernias that were repaired and now I have a diastasis recti that has been with me for at least 5 to 7 years. I have trouble bending over getting something off the floor. I am limited in my food intake because of the abdominal crowding. I feel like I'm going to "pop open" most of the time. I look like I'm pregnant. What are your thoughts?
