I Have Been Suffering With Knee Pain For The Last

I Have been suffering with knee pain for the last month. I received a steroid injection and that lasted for 4 days. a week later they put me on prednisone 5 - 20 mg pills. That made me feel good for the 5 days I was on it then the symptom's returned. They injected my knee with a lubricating gel today to see if that will relive some of the pain. Along with this I have pains in my left shoulder, right and left elbow on the inside, left calf, left and right buttocks, lower back on the right side and my left wrist. I'm wondering if there is something else going on like an infection that may be causing all of this. I am a 61 year old male name is Eric. Thanks for listening
