I Have Had Cold Like Symptoms Daily For 12 Weeks.

I Have had cold like symptoms daily for 12 weeks. I live in an old farm house that has dirt floors in the part of the basement and old carpet, so we are removing the old carpet to see if that helps with the dust irritants. I sneeze about 8 times every hour and have a non stop severe nasal congestion with a runny nose that drips. I have lost most of my ability to smell and taste is slightly decreased. I saw my Doctor 3 weeks into this and was given antibiotics for a sinus infection, but nothing improved or changed. I take Claritin daily which seems to help once in a while, but while at home I'm so miserable. What do you recommend? Maybe a shot, or should I go see an allergist?
