I JUST Had A Couple Moles Removed A Few Days

I JUST had a couple moles removed a few days ago and not sure if they are getting infected or if it's just skin growing back. They look like the size of a cigarette burn. Not running a fever and they aren't really painful just little burning sensation once in a while. I was t old after the first day to leave the wound open. It's on my arm right about where my shirt sleeve touches. How long does it usually take for the redness to go away. Is it ok to go swimming
