I Acquired Quite A Nasty Cold Three Weeks A Go

I acquired quite a nasty cold three weeks a go and it is still persistent although I don't have any cold symptoms the hocking cough remains. Also due to the cough constantly strenuating and putting pressure on the front of my head has given me perfuce headaches. Up until now I've never had a headache but for the past week I've been having nose bleeds every morning when I wake up, then after its run for about 5-10 minuets it stops. Just wondering what these symptoms may be caused by or if medical attention is required
