I Administered An Eight Panel Drug Test To A Male

I administered an eight panel drug test to a male with a long history of heroin abuse. He tested negative, which is good. His urine was so sticky, stringy it would not allow the urine to go "into" the single panel nicotine test. What cause this stringiness, and his urine looked so unhealthy, if that makes sense.
