I Already Have A Doctor, But It Seems That I

I already have a doctor, but it seems that I this chronic cough that does not stop. I told my doctor but he says simply that it is just some acid buildup and it will eventually go away. He prescribed me something for it, but yet it does not seem to not do anything so far.
