I Am 15 Days Late With My Period. Last Week

I am 15 days late with my period. Last week I did an at home pregnancy test and it was negative yet I still have not started. I have mild low back cramping but nothing like what my periods are like. If anything it is just an annoyance as apposed to painful. Is it possible that I tested too early and could still be pregnant?
