I Am 17 Years Old, In Case That Information Is

I am 17 years old, in case that information is of importance here. About a week ago, I had a hangnail, to which I applied a bandaid. Upon removing the bandage the next day, I noticed two small, brown lines on either side of the nail. Since then, they have not gonna away, and have also not increased or decreased in size. They are not painful. Should I be concerned?
